First, a craft. This is not an original idea, not even to my own blog! I posted about this around Christmas, but I've made another one, and I think they are so cute and worth a second mention for anyone who may have missed it which looking at the responses would be a whole bunch of people ;)
HERE. They are super easy to make, and like I said, they're cute! Especially if you are always carrying your camera around like I am.
All you do is measure out your choice of material. (and just pretend that I know how to iron) I chose this blue and white stripe (one of my husband's old shirts. It's old now anyway.)Of course, now that I've made this one, I want one that's more "springy" - think bright & gaudy.
The second thing I wanted to share...
this recipe from allrecipes.......
1/4 cup olive oil
5 cloves garlic *I skipped, b/c jeez...5 cloves?
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese *I used Asiago
1 tablespoon crushed dried oregano
fresh ground black pepper, to taste
I just sliced the bread like in Holly's recipe, then poured the olive oil dip into the slices. Baked it in the oven until nice and crusty. The bomb!
So that's my random post! For Tuesday linkys - go here. Holla.
