'The Lean Belly Prescription' Book Review and Giveaway!
According to the Report of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee, a majority of Americans do not eat the daily recommended servings of whole grains (which is 3). In fact, the average person gets a little more than half a serving of whole grain each day.
Cereal is a one easy and convenient way to fit more whole grains into your diet. Big G cereals, for example, contains at least 8 grams of whole grain per serving, with more than 20 Big G cereals delivering 16 grams or more. (At least 48 grams of whole grain are recommended daily.) A diet high in whole grains has been found to help (not prevent or cure) with diabetes and weight management, and may help reduce the risk of heart disease and certain cancers.
Visit http://www.wholegrainnation.com/ for more tips, additional information about the benefits of whole grain and how to help you manage your weight by incorporating whole grains into your day.
In this book “The Lean Belly Prescription,” by Dr. Travis Stork, he talks about how important weight management and proper nutrition are. A large amount of research has shown that belly fat carries more health risks than fat stored elsewhere. Since having children, I know all about belly fat. ew.
In this book, you will find lots of practical information, as well as having different plans or strategies to choose from to help you in your weight management goals. For example, Dr. Stork's “Laws of Leanness” allows you to choose goals that will easily fit into your lifestyle -
*If you love to graze: Nosh all day long on your favorite fruits and vegetables to help keep your belly full
*If you love fatty foods: discover which fats can actually strip away pounds
*If you love soda: substitute more delicious drinks that can help you lose up to four pounds in four weeks.
