what you won't see on my Christmas cards

I had my cards and picture all picked out and ready to order at Tiny Prints  last week.  I was ahead of the game.  Then I showed it to my husband...."hey honey, check out our Christmas cards".  His response- "I'd rather have a picture in color".  Because I, of course, had picked out a black and white.  Sooo....yesterday, a full week later, I finally get the kids to "pose" for a new picture.  If you have kids, you know where I'm going with this.

What you won't see on my Christmas cards....

"Take one more mommy"
I have to, you won't put your finger down.
I gave up pretty quick trying to get the dog to cooperate as well.
ummm...hellooo?!

but finally....after 82 pictures....
cuteness.

Do you send out Christmas cards?  With photos or without?  Do you do a letter telling everyone what you've been up to all year.  Nobody reads those by the way.
haha. just kidding.  I totally read them.  And then make fun of you.  Yes, I know what you're thinking. Happy Holidays beotch.
hahahahaha

  1. Speaking as an adult who, in the last few years, has NOT had to pose for the family card; I know that frustration well. Thank goodness my sisters have kids my mom uses on the cards now! WHEW! Merry Christmas!

  3. We have done photo cards since son #1 was 1 year old...which is now 32 years in a row!! Some years the whole family, but every year at least both 'boys' even though they are now 33 and 30. Everyone looks forward to receiving our cards and we love to see the continuing change in the family:)

  5. We used a really old picture but because there wasn't one of us from this year. We also totally left the dogs out this year and I felt really guilty.

  6. My mom totally took about 100 pictures of us posing in front of the tree for Christmas cards. She still tries to do it even though we're almost all adults. It's insane.

    Your kids are such cuties!
