I don't know about y'all, but I spend a lot of time in the grocery store. I mean, it takes me for-ev-er. I am an avid 'label reader' - trying to make the best decisions on foods for my family. Not to mention, I have to scan the ingredient lists on everything before my son can eat it due to his food allergies. So, what if I told you that General Mills has come up with a way to make your cereal shopping so much easier? Awesome, right?!
We all have probably heard by now how important whole grains are in our diet. Well, General Mills has made it so much easier to identify their cereals that have more whole grain than any other ingredient...they have placed a white check on the front! Easy to identify, and allowing me to spend less time in the cereal isle. (If you have been reading for a while, you know that my family eats A LOT of cereal - myself included.) My son went through a stage where he wouldn't eat hardly anything but cereal, and he is still quite the Cheerios fanatic.

My 3 y/o was so excited when I pulled out his beloved Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch AND Lucky Charms! He thought it was Christmas :) My girls and I love Honey Nut Cheerios, and I like to eat my Total with either blueberries or mixed dried berries, and a few walnuts. That's a lot of nutrition packed in one bowl of cereal!
