It appears that I am one of the last people to know the fabulousness and fun of Polyvore. Sure, I've known about it for quite a while now. I knew that my sister used the site to put together some cute outfits and home decor, but I've never tried it out. Then my girls got interested in creating outfits on Polyvore and that is all I've heard about. Obviously, I had to check it out.
Well, you know how Pinterest became addictive after you used it a couple of times? The same is true for Polyvore! It's fun to go through the site and see what others have created in the areas of fashion and home decor, but it's also fun to put together outfits of your own. That's what I've done here - I was given one image, the dress, and asked to build an ensemble around it. In exchange, I get entered into ModCloth's weekly Polyvore contest.

It was a lot of fun, and I discovered some cute things along the way...like how cute are those wedge booties pictured? I think it would also be a great resource for figuring out which holiday outfit to wear to any parties you have coming up. That's not an issue here, I'll be chillaxin' in my jammies as much as possible. But I'm old.
