The Wheel on the Bus

So, my girls went back to school the other day.  Yay - the girls are in school all day, and not home, fussing and fighting and complaining.  Boo - school means schedules, and homework and packing lunches, and wearing clothes that are cleaned AND ironed.  Okay, maybe not ironed - but you know, they have to look descent.  Or you get the reputation for being that slack-ass parent who lets their kid wear whatever to school.  And I don't want to be that parent.  I want to be the mom who has fresh-baked cookies waiting for her girls on their first day of school.  Yeah, that mom.  I went to the store to get some ingredients for said fresh-baked homemade cookies....but I saw these
and how freakin' cute are they?
So, instead of homemade cookies, I thought, well.....these will be okay.  It's a special occasion and they are convenient.  and all that fat and preservatives and whatever else they put in the really good, melt in yo mouth cookies will be okay this once.  So I baked up a few.  Okay, I baked the whole friggin' box.

They're pretty cute right?  But take a closer look...

some were like this.  WTFudge is that?  Budget cuts?

'The Wheel on the Bus goes round and round'

Happy Friday!  Hurricane Earl didn't screw things up too bad, so
I hope everyone enjoys the Labor Day weekend!

  2. I think you're supposed to eat them, not inspect them! lmao! You're so funny! That's what you get for trying to be that mom who makes the cookies. I hate that mom. She's the one that gives moms like me a bad name! Let your kids go to school in wrinkled clothing! Boo to the iron!
