Anyway, moving on...I've posted my Valentine's Candy Bark, Mr. Two's Valentines, and today I'm sharing another super simple (b/c that's how I roll) Valentine teacher gift that I did with my girls last night. Which is why the pics are not so great. I definitely need better light in my kitchen.
Yep, it's nothing but pink and white marshmallows, dipped in white almond bark. Then I let the kids decorate them with Valentine sprinkles and M&M's. However, even though they are super simple, I thought they turned out cute. I just put them in a bag with a free printable from the Internet (I didn't bookmark where I got them, but I just googled Valentine treat bag toppers. There are lots of cute one's available!) I would have liked to do a little more, but, even though I'm feeling better, I haven't gotten my energy back yet from this stupid upper respiratory thing I've had going on. Hopefully this week I will get back to "normal" whatever that is!
I'm so looking forward to the warmer weather this week! Possible 70's I heard?! Now THAT gets me excited!! Going to try to plan a special dinner tonight for the fam...some candles, sparkling grape juice, chocolate fondue (chocolate is the BEST part of Valentine's Day!!), the kids will love it! Happy V-Day!
Don't forget - I have TWO giveaways going on right now:

mama used to buy me one present for valentine's day and then we would have a candle light supper (steaks of course) and the table would be all decorated. i thought it was so awesome!
ReplyDeletei'm opting for tortellini & meatballs instead of steak b/c mike mentioned wanting some the other day. asparagus and prosciutto bruschetta for apps! and maybe just choc chip cookies for dessert. neither of us are huge chocolate fans.
love the marshmallows. you are definitely a professional mom.
Wow. You're putting me to shame over here! Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI saw it's supposed to be 65 here today! Yippee!
I think it's so great that you work hard to make even the most corny holidays (Valentines Day...) special for your kids. I can remember my mom buying me a heart shaped cupcake pan one Valentine's day, and making awesome cupcakes with them, and it's a memory I know I will always have. These colorful marshmallows looks awesome!! And so fun :)
ReplyDeleteHappy V-D...I mean, Valentine's Day!
Oooo! You made me want the Melting Pot dessert..Such desire... And I love the marshmellows. I remember when I wrote an anonymous love letter to a boy in my class. It was quite the scandal.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, thanks for sharing! I found you on Made By You Mondays and am now following you.
