A Pleasant Surprise and Facebook Friday

It's official.  My kids gave me their cold.  Thanks for sharing kids.  I decided to take Nyquil last night, and as soon as I took it, Mr. Two woke up, and preceeded to stay awake almost the entire night.  Fun times, let me tell ya!  He kept saying his ear hurt, so first thing this morning I took him to the doctor (4th trip in 2 weeks! Not just him, the girls too.  But jeesh, that's a lot of copays Dr. visits!) and sure enough, he has an ear infection.  So, we are armed with an antibiotic and ear drops...and praying for sleep tonight!

However, that has nothing to do with what I wanted to tell you.  I wanted to share the pleasant surprise I got yesterday.....Bloggy love!  Mo'Betta was featured At Home With Haley!  It was such a nice post, and well, I was just tickled pink!   Remember, I am a southern girl.  I'd love for you to go check it out, and browse around her blog while you're there.  She's got some yummy recipes going on!  Speaking of recipes....I've got nothin'.  I haven't cooked in a couple of days.  Hopefully I'll be back in the kitchen in the next day or two.  I really want to do some Valentine's baking!!!  I have a cute little heart shaped muffin pan, cake pan, a cookie pan....so I want to put them to use.  (Any excuse to make something chocolate!!)  Plus, I've got to get stuff together since all 3 kids will need Valentine's for school.  My oldest child has 32 kids in her class.  32.  That's A LOT.  Anyway, lots to do, but I ain't doing jack today.  I hope everyone has a safe weekend.  It is currently raining and snowing here! YUCK!
