Project 52: A Glimpse Into Motherhood

Simply Modern Mom has started Project 52: A Glimpse Into Motherhood.  I thought it was such a neat idea!  Have you ever just looked at your kids, or something around you, and had a "mommy moment".  Something that makes you pause and think to yourself "yep, I'm a mom", or moments that you really wanted to capture b/c you realize how quickly they are growing up.  It happens to me all the time.  I am astounded at how fast time goes by!  That's what happened when I walked into my kitchen the other morning and saw this....
Now, I realize it's just lunch bags.  But it was something about having all THREE of my babies' lunch bags lined up on the counter that made me pause.  I stopped in my tracks and thought "wow, my kids are growing up."  Even my baby, Mr. Two (who before long will be Mr. Three!) is off to pre-school twice a week now.  How did this happen?  Where did the time go?

    Oh - I know exactly what you mean! They get so big so fast! Secretly I cannot wait for them to all be in school, but on the other hand - I know it will be so sad! Great picture, captures Motherhood perfectly!

    Great picture. I love the lunch boxes. I have panic attacks thinking of my little ones going to school and they're still babies. They do grow up so fast.
