Valentine's Candy Bark

I know I haven't posted much about Valentine's Day, but with being sick and all, I just haven't done very much.  I was feeling a little guilty about that yesterday, and thought I would make something with the kids.  However, I still feel like poo, so I wanted something quick and easy.  Valentine's Candy Bark fits the bill!  Super easy, quick and the kids love it!  It also made a cute teacher gift, since Mr. Two has his Valentine's party today.

If you've never made candy bark, all you have to do is line a baking pan with wax paper.  Melt your choice of chocolate (I used white almond bark) and have whatever toppings you want to use ready.  I had the kids put pretzels and Rice Krispies cereal on top of the wax paper, then we poured the melted white bark over them.  Then they added Valentine's M&M's and sprinkles.  Stick the pan in the fridge to harden, and voila!  Easy Valentine's candy!
I added some to a bag, with pink marshmallows and a free printable tag from the internet for Mr. Two's teachers.  Easy, cute, and done :)  The Valentine's for his class turned out really cute too.  I'll post those tomorrow.

  5. I liked this idea so much that I'm going to make it tomorrow and shared it with my readers. I linked to your recipe and directed them to your blog, and used an image (with credit of course). Hope it's okay to use the picture, but just let me know if it isn't!
