Stand Up for Family!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of American Family Insurance for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

If you are like my husband and I, we enjoy watching stand up comedy on television, but rarely do we have a child-free moment to do so.  More often than not, the language and content is not appropriate for little ears, so we have to change the channel.  What if I told you about a hilarious group of comedians that provided quality entertainment, but kept it appropriate for the whole family to watch?!  Awesome right?  It's called Stand Up For Family and is sponsored by American Family Insurance.  These AmFam videos will not disappoint - I'm talking big names like Bill Bellamy, whom we've been watching for years.

The comedians talk a lot about family issues that we can all relate too - like how things were different when we were growing up, rules we had to follow, things from our childhood (like playing outside until the street lights came on!)- that are presented in a way that is sooo funny, but yet completely relatable!  I really enjoyed watching the videos, and having the comfort that I didn't have to worry that the f*bomb or something else completely inappropriate was going to be dropped.  Now, I did hear one or two words like a*s - but considering that word is used in the Disney movie Ice Age and my kids have seen that a few thousand times, I wasn't too concerned.  And, of course, they've never heard a slip come from me. Nope. No way. Never. I'm not lying either.  And if you believe that....*ahem*

If you enjoy stand up, and you have children, or you just prefer a "cleaner" stand up routine, you should really check out Stand Up For Family.  I think it's great that AmFam has made the effort to sponsor these videos.  It makes you appreciate a company that cares enough about family values and their customers to "put their money where their mouth is".

  1. I hadn't heard of this, but yes, comedy is tough to find "clean." Thanks for the heads up!
