Dollar General - my saving grace, I mean, place!

I live in a small community that has ONE grocery store (no lie), a 'one dollar' store, a hardware store, and a Dollar General.  The closest mass-merchandiser is about 35 minutes away.  When you have 3 kids and a huge SUV, driving that far to pick up a couple of items is just not feasible.  Gas cost too much and, well, I'm not even going to talk about carrying all 3 kids to the store.  Sometimes I need to just pop in somewhere local, and grab something quick.  

There are always those moments where I suddenly realize I forgot the Cascade, or my girls tell me they ran out of Vidal Sassoon (not when they get low, but completely run out!).  

Well, thank goodness, for Dollar General.  The one where I live (and I assume they are all pretty much the same?) carries a little bit of everything. Everything from grocery items, school supples, and baby supplies to my favorite P&G brands, all at reasonable prices.  Yep, my local Dollar General has saved me many a trip to wally world, not to mention time and money by not having to travel out-of-town.

Look for them on 01/27/13 for great offers valid through 2/28/13.  Saving time and money is always a good thing in my book. It's like that Swiffer commercial, where the women realize they are all done cleaning and finally have time to read a book, or give themselves a facial!
