Day 2 of "the plan"

So I made it through the second day of the torture aka training plan.  See yesterday's post for the link to said plan.  Today was "walk 3-5 miles".  I thought, okay, easy enough.  However, when on a time schedule, and having 3 kids, you can pretty much throw your plans out the window.  I knew it would be difficult to squeeze exercise in today b/c my daughter had a dr's appt @ 1:30 (an hour's drive away) and I had to leave early enough to drop the other two kids off at my in-laws.  That meant that Terrible Two would not get his nap - which is about the only time I can focus on anything else.  But since it is only day 2, I am still determined to see this through.  Check back in a few weeks and see if I maintain my motivation!  I decided that it wouldn't take too long to walk 3-5 miles (who was I kidding?) and my 7 & 9 yr old could entertain Mr. Two while I was on the treadmill.  We were all upstairs, the baby gate was up, a movie was on...we're set.  I hop on the treadmill and after a few minutes, both girls are NOT with their brother.  "Girls, you have to stay in the room with your brother.  Please keep an eye on him and watch the movie, I'll be finished in a few minutes".  After about a mile or so...."mama, mama, mama"....."WHAT!!"....girls - "I don't want to watch him any more"...me - "you have too, just a few more minutes"....screaming, yelling, arguing from girls and two...me - turn IPOD up.....nearing 3 miles, my 7 yr old comes in to report - "mama, little man did a stinkie and it stinks to the EARTH!"  What?!  It took me a second, then I realized that she was referring to one of our good ol' southern sayings "stinks to high heaven!".  It's really hard to walk at a brisk pace while LMAO!  So anyway, made it to 3.5 miles and had to quit, b/c Lord knows, you do not leave a 2 yr old in a poopie diaper b/c diapers do not always keep messes contained.  Thankfully, tomorrow's plan says REST.
